The service

Kikinous is a free online baby registry service. It lets you create a list, add gifts from any shop, share it with your loved ones, and let them reserve gifts.

Your account

• You must be at least 16 years old to create an account.
• You provide a valid email and you're responsible for keeping your access confidential.
• You can delete your account at any time from your settings.
• We may suspend an account that breaches these terms or endangers other users.

What you put on your list

• You retain ownership of the content you publish (list title, photos, messages).
• By publishing it on Kikinous, you grant us a non-exclusive right to host and display it in order to operate the service.
• You agree not to publish anything illegal, hateful, or that infringes a third party's rights (trademark, copyright, privacy).

Reservations

Reservations made by your loved ones are commitments between them and you. Kikinous facilitates the connection and tracking, but is not the seller of the products. A reservation counts as intent, not payment.

Links to third-party shops

Products added to your list link to third-party sites (Smallable, Natalys, etc.). We have no control over their prices, availability, sales terms, or return policy. The transaction takes place between the shop and the person giving the gift.

Service availability

We do our best to keep Kikinous available 24/7, but we can't guarantee absolute uptime. The service may be interrupted for maintenance, updates, or due to a technical incident. We'll always try to give advance notice when possible.

Liability

Kikinous is provided "as is". We cannot be held liable for indirect damages (data loss, lost earnings, moral prejudice) related to use of the service. This limitation does not apply in the event of gross or intentional fault on our part, nor for damages that the law forbids limiting.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms to reflect changes in the service or regulations. If the change is significant, we'll let you know by email at least 30 days before it takes effect. Continuing to use Kikinous after that date counts as acceptance of the new terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, we'll first try to find an amicable solution. Failing that, the dispute may be brought before the competent French courts, unless a legal provision in favor of the consumer states otherwise.
