We built Kikinous
to keep expecting a baby gentle.
Kikinous is a small French team that reinvented the baby registry - no ads, no pressure, no useless glitter. Just a simple tool, made for the moments that matter.
It all started with a slightly chaotic list.
In 2024, Clémentine was expecting Jeanne. She tried three different baby registry sites: one that forced a single shop, another covered in ad banners, and a last one that made sharing complicated. None of them looked like what she had in mind.
She talked it over with Raphaël one evening on the couch. The next day, Étienne (the little brother, a developer) pulled out a notebook. Three months later, Kikinous existed. For Jeanne first, then for the friends, then for the friends of friends.
Today, thousands of families use Kikinous. We're still a small team, we read every message, and we evolve the service based on what you tell us. We promise: we'll never grow faster than our ability to answer.
Four principles, not one more.
Three people, a lot of tenderness.
We're small, and we like it that way. It forces us to say no to bad ideas and yes to quality.
